The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have picked up five suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Ibadan.
The suspects are; Ayomide, Philip Gabriel, Mayowa Jolaoso Segun, Babatunde Segun Adeyinka and Abiodun Tolulope Emmanuel.
The suspects, whose ages range between 21 and 37, were arrested sequel to series of intelligence received by the commission on their alleged involvement in internet-related crimes
“Items recovered from them include two cars, laptops, phones and some documents suspected to contain false pretences,” EFCC Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren said in a statement on Friday.
He said that the suspects would be charged to court as soon as the investigation is completed.
