EFCC Arrests 27 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Taraba

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Gombe Zonal Directorate, on Sunday arrested 27 suspected internet fraudsters in Jalingo, Taraba State.

The Commission made this known in a statement shared on its Facebook page in the late hours of Monday.

According to the statement, the suspects were arrested at Fenson Guest House and mile 6 in Jalingo, based on credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet fraud.

Items recovered from the suspects include one Toyota Camry car (2013 model), 27 phones, five laptops, and other electronic devices.

The EFCC stated that the suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
