Anambra State First Lady, Nonye Soludo, has urged Nigerians to use the Eid-el-Maulud celebration as an opportunity to promote kindness, tolerance, peace and peaceful coexistence.
Soludo, founder of the Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative, gave the charge while felicitating Muslims in Anambra State and across the country on the celebration commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement issued on Tuesday by her media aide, Daniel Ezeigwe, she encouraged Muslim faithful to reflect on the values and teachings associated with the Prophet’s life, particularly by showing compassion to the less privileged and vulnerable.
She also called on citizens to foster greater understanding and unity, stressing the importance of extending support and fellowship to people in need.

The Anambra First Lady urged Muslims to make conscious efforts to live by the lessons of Eid-el-Maulud and promote peaceful relations within their communities and across the country.
She said, “Wishing our Muslim brothers and sisters in Anambra State and across Nigeria a blessed and peaceful Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
May this sacred occasion bring peace to our homes, strengthen our faith, and inspire us to show greater kindness and understanding to one another.
“There are great lessons of peace, perseverance, tolerance, humility and selflessness that we can all learn from the life of the Prophet.”
