Ekiti 2026: APC Disqualifies Kayode Ojo from Gov’ship Primary Race

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified one of its governorship aspirants, Kayode Ojo, from taking part in the Ekiti State primary election scheduled for October 27.

This was revealed by the APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Duro Meseko, while speaking to journalists in Abuja on Thursday, October 9.

Meseko explained that the party’s screening committee had completed its assessment of all aspirants and cleared only Governor Abiodun Oyebanji and Omolayo Oluremi to contest.
