The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State, Surah Animashaun, has sworn in newly appointed Supervisory Councillors, Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants at the council headquarters in Ita-Marin, Epe.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Animashaun described the swearing-in ceremony as a defining moment for her administration, noting that the appointments represent a renewed commitment to effective governance and service delivery to the people of Epe.
She congratulated the newly sworn-in officials and urged them to see their appointments as a call to serve the people with integrity, dedication and measurable impact.
Animashaun reaffirmed that her administration remains committed to its guiding philosophy that Epe is built on progress and driven by vision, stressing that infrastructure development, youth and women empowerment as well as community advancement would continue to receive priority attention.
According to her, the administration will sustain ongoing efforts aimed at improving the standard of living of residents and strengthening development across the local government area.
Speaking at the event, former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and member of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, commended the chairman for what he described as purposeful leadership.
Ikuforiji urged the new officials to support the administration’s developmental agenda with diligence, dedication and commitment to humanity.

Also speaking, the member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives (Nigeria), Wale Raji, congratulated the appointees and encouraged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through dedicated service.
Raji also called on them to work towards bringing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the people of Epe.
Similarly, the member representing Epe Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Abiodun Tobun, applauded Animashaun’s commitment to the development of Epe.
He charged the newly sworn-in officials to work closely with the administration to sustain progress and deliver more dividends of democracy to residents of the area.
Dignitaries at the ceremony included the Vice Chairman of Epe Local Government, Sikiru Owolomoshe; former member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives (Nigeria), Bola Gbabijo; former Commissioner of the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Ahmed Seriki; former Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hassan Adedoyin; and Director of Lekki Free Zone Parcel B, Tunde Ogunkoya, among others.
