Nigerian forward Esther Okoronkwo has clinched her first piece of silverware with AFC Toronto, capping off a stellar season in the North Star League (NSL).
Okoronkwo played a key role in her team’s title-winning campaign, finishing the regular season as the league’s top assist provider with seven assists.
Her remarkable playmaking form follows an equally impressive outing at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where she also topped the assists chart with six assists, underlining her growing reputation as one of Africa’s finest creative forwards.
