A fan has tragically died after a fall during the Oasis reunion concert at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, authorities have confirmed.
The Metropolitan Police said emergency services responded at 10:19 p.m. BST to reports of an injured man in his 40s.
Paramedics and officers arrived swiftly, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police stated that his injuries were “consistent with a fall.”
The legendary Britpop band, who recently reunited after more than a decade apart, expressed their grief in a statement released Sunday.
“Oasis are shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic death of a fan during Saturday’s performance,” the band said.
“We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.”
The concert, part of the highly anticipated Oasis Live ’25 tour, marked a historic moment for fans, with Wembley’s 90,000 seats sold out in celebration of the Gallagher brothers’ return to the stage after a 16-year hiatus.
Authorities are urging attendees to come forward with any information that could help piece together what happened.

“Given the size of the crowd, it is likely several people may have witnessed the incident, or may have captured it unknowingly on their phones,” a police spokesperson said.
Witnesses are asked to contact police via 101.
The concert had been scheduled to run from 8:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m., according to Wembley’s official website. The incident occurred just minutes after the scheduled close.
Wembley Stadium issued a statement confirming that medical personnel, police, and the London Ambulance Service had all responded.
“Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to his family, who are now being supported by specially trained officers.”
Despite the tragedy, Sunday night’s concert is set to proceed as planned. The tour also includes performances on 27 and 28 September at Wembley.
