FG Unifies Prices for Renewed Hope Homes Across Nigeria

The Federal Government has approved uniform prices for housing units under the Renewed Hope Cities and Estates Programme, a move aimed at ensuring affordability, transparency, and equal access to homeownership for Nigerians in every state.

Announcing the decision in Abuja on Thursday, October 24, 2025, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, said the policy was introduced to eliminate regional price disparities and promote fairness across the housing sector.

Under the new pricing structure, a one-bedroom semi-detached bungalow will sell for ₦8.5 million, a two-bedroom unit for ₦11.5 million, and a three-bedroom unit for ₦12.5 million.

Dangiwa stated that the Renewed Hope housing initiative is designed to support low- and middle-income earners, civil servants, private-sector workers, and Nigerians in the diaspora.

He added that interested buyers can apply through the ministry’s online housing portal.

He further explained that payment options will include outright purchase, mortgage financing, rent-to-own arrangements, and flexible instalment plans to make ownership attainable for all income levels.

“Our goal is to make housing truly affordable for every Nigerian, irrespective of state or income,” Dangiwa said.

“Uniform pricing enhances transparency and demonstrates our commitment to fairness under the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
