The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Didi Walson-Jack, has announced plans to collaborate with the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) to boost access to affordable housing for civil servants.
Walson-Jack disclosed this in a post shared on her official Facebook page on Friday, following a courtesy visit by the Chief Executive Officer of MOFI to her office.
According to her, the discussions focused on leveraging the MOFI Real Estate Investment Fund (MREIF) as a major intervention to support civil servants in line with the welfare agenda of the Federal Government.
“The Civil Service, as the engine room of government, must not only drive national development but also ensure the well-being of its workforce. Access to affordable housing remains central to this commitment, and the collaboration with MOFI provides a viable pathway to make this a reality for our officers,” she said.

She explained that the partnership aligns with the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2025 (FCSSIP25), which seeks to build a modern, citizen-centered, and results-driven Civil Service.
The initiative, she added, reflects the government’s commitment to combining welfare, efficiency, and service delivery as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
