Frederick Set For Brentford Return After Injury Layoff

Benjamin Frederick is closing in on a long-awaited return to action after recovering fully from the injury that kept him sidelined since November 2025.

The Super Eagles defender, who missed Nigeria’s recent Africa Cup of Nations campaign, is now expected to rejoin full training with Brentford FC next week.

Frederick’s return comes on the back of a productive loan spell with FCV Dender EH, where he impressed in the Belgian top flight before his setback.

The defender made 14 appearances, earning plaudits for his speed, composure, and ability to play out from the back.
