“Bolaji’s life was a testament to his passion for music, his unwavering faith, and his dedication to uplifting those around him. His legacy is not only in the melodies he created but in the lives he touched and the unquantifiable joy he spread,” the family said.
They added that although his passing has brought immense grief, they take comfort in the belief that he is now at peace with the Lord. The family also requested privacy during this period of mourning and thanked the public for the outpouring of love and prayers.
Born in Osun State and raised in Ibadan, Bolaji was a certified estate surveyor, though his true calling was in gospel music. His annual praise concert, Turn It Up With Big Bolaji, held in Ibadan, was a spiritual and cultural highlight for fans and worshippers.
Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
