Gospel singer Paul Nwokocha has finally broken his silence on the swirling rumours surrounding his turbulent marital life, delivering an unfiltered and explosive revelation in a now-viral video on his official YouTube channel.
With unwavering conviction, Nwokocha declared that he harbours no regrets about ending his latest marriage, citing his wife’s alleged “abominable acts” as the ultimate dealbreaker.
“If I marry today and find out that the wife I married is doing an abominable thing before God and before man, I will send you out of my house,” he asserted, his tone leaving no room for doubt.
In a shocking twist, the gospel artist accused his estranged wife of sending nude photos and videos to other men. He dismissed critics who questioned his decision, challenging them to consider how they would react in the face of such betrayal.
“I married a wife, not a whore. So, I owe nobody an apology for this,” he declared with finality.
The video has since set social media ablaze, triggering a fierce debate. While some applaud his unwavering moral stance, others criticize the decision to air such deeply personal matters in public.
Nwokocha’s latest marital crisis, however, is not his first. According to ABN TV on the 10th of February, 2025, he has now ended his second marriage after just two years.
In a move that traditionally signifies the formal dissolution of a union, the bride’s family returned the bride price.
The singer’s marital history has been turbulent. In September 2023, he married Goodness Nwokocha barely a month after parting ways with his first wife, Alice Nwokocha. His separation from Alice was reportedly fueled by allegations of “maltreatment,” including claims that she refused to serve him food.
Notably, Nwokocha has often expressed his belief that marriage should be “for better, for better” a sharp deviation from the conventional “for better, for worse” vow.

A family insider, speaking anonymously, revealed that from the outset, Goodness’s marriage to the singer was riddled with strife. Reports suggest she was treated more like a housemaid than a wife.
Adding another layer to the controversy, the source disclosed that Goodness had no prior romantic history with Nwokocha before their wedding. She relocated from Lagos to be with him at the urging of his uncles, allegedly without conducting any background checks.
