The Hisbah Board has mandated thorough psychiatric and drug assessments to determine his mental and physical condition.
Reacting to the incident, the Deputy Commander-General of the Hisbah Board, Sheikh Mujahidden Aminuddeen Abubakar, condemned Shamsu’s action, describing it as disgraceful and profoundly disrespectful to Islamic principles and moral values.
Abubakar said, “It is tragic that a Muslim man would subject himself to such a disgraceful act, ignoring all religious and ethical values. This individual clearly lacks any proper understanding of Islam. His pursuit of cheap social media fame has led him into disgrace.”
The Hisbah Board has reiterated its dedication to preserving moral values and issued a warning against efforts to undermine the cultural and religious integrity of the state through indecent behaviors, particularly those aimed at garnering public attention.
