Hong Kong Airlines has suspended operations and evacuated nearly all of its aircraft as Super Typhoon Ragasa bears down on the city.
The carrier confirmed through its official travel advisory on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, that numerous flights had been cancelled and online check-in services suspended.
Flight tracking data indicated that all but one of its 28 aircraft had been relocated outside Hong Kong ahead of the storm.
Cathay Pacific, the city’s largest airline, also suspended more than 500 flights and moved planes to other locations as part of precautionary measures.
Authorities at Hong Kong International Airport cancelled all takeoffs and landings for a 36-hour period starting Tuesday evening.
