Hoodlums have killed a 38-year-old Uber driver, identified as Vincent Bala, during an attack on Takushara Village in the Kabusa axis of Abuja.
This was disclosed in a statement quoted by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, on Monday.
According to the statement, the incident occurred on Sunday when the assailants stormed the village and demanded to see the manager of a local bakery.
Bala, who was mistaken for the manager, was stabbed after the hoodlums robbed the family of two mobile phones, cash and other valuables.
He was rushed to Garki General Hospital where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.

The corpse has since been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary for preservation.
Residents said the attackers fled the community after the incident.
The police operatives have launched an investigation to track down the perpetrators.
