Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her husband, billionaire and senator Ned Nwoko, of domestic violence, alleging that he assaulted her during an altercation and later sent his thugs to intimidate her and her brother, Sammy West.
A video that surfaced on social media on Saturday, October 18, 2025, shows Daniels visibly distressed, saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house I am nothing, but in my own house I am a queen. Not again, I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Her brother, singer Sammy West, also took to Instagram to express anger over the alleged assault and to warn the senator against further violence. In his post, West wrote:
“Makachi! E pain me say una wan finally laugh my sister. Let me repeat, anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood! … Senator Ned Nwoko, you get luck say after you beat my sister again, smash her head for wall, you run comot send thugs! I swear I for burst all your jaw!”
The post, which quickly went viral, has intensified public scrutiny of the couple’s marriage, which has often drawn attention due to their wide age difference and Nwoko’s political stature.
Efforts to obtain a response from Senator Nwoko or his media team were unsuccessful as of press time.
Neither the police nor any official source has confirmed the alleged incident or issued a statement regarding the reported attack.

Daniels, 25, married Senator Nwoko in 2019. They share two sons. Sources close to the actress said she has since moved out of the couple’s Abuja residence with her children and is currently staying at a separate location.
If confirmed, the allegations could have serious legal, reputational, and political consequences for Senator Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the National Assembly.
Analysts note that accusations of domestic abuse and use of physical intimidation, if substantiated, could trigger both criminal investigation and disciplinary attention within political circles.
Public affairs observers also say the incident underscores the growing pressure on public officials to uphold personal conduct standards, particularly in high-profile marriages involving celebrities.
