IGP Disu Hosts Czech Republic Ambassador In Abuja

The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, on Thursday received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Nigeria, Tomáš Výprachtický, during a courtesy visit at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

The meeting provided an avenue for both parties to discuss issues of mutual interest, particularly in the areas of security cooperation, capacity building, and knowledge exchange.

According to the police authorities on its Facebook page on Thursday, the engagement highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and international partners in addressing evolving security challenges.

During the visit, the two sides explored opportunities for deeper cooperation aimed at improving policing standards and enhancing safety and security across Nigeria.

IGP Disu appreciated the ambassador for the visit and reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to building productive partnerships with friendly nations and global institutions.

The visit also underscored the growing diplomatic and security ties between Nigeria and the Czech Republic.
