The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has announced the appointment of Benjamin Hundeyin as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) of the Nigeria Police Force.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the outgoing spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, who officially handed over the role.
According to the statement, the IGP urged Hundeyin to bring his wealth of experience in security and communications to bear in strengthening the Police’s public engagement and fostering a more positive relationship with Nigerians.

Hundeyin, a seasoned officer with years of service in various strategic roles, will now be responsible for driving the Force’s public communications and information management.
