Social media personality Jarvis has clarified that she referred to her husband as a “tomb shifter,” not a “womb shifter,” following widespread reactions to a viral clip from her wedding ceremony.
The content creator addressed the controversy after several social media users misinterpreted the phrase she used while speaking about her husband during the celebration.
In a voice note shared online, Jarvis explained that her words had been taken out of context and insisted that she never used the term “womb shifter.”
“For those of you who came to my wedding and have been changing the words that I said, I dropped a voice note. I never said ‘womb shifter’,” she stated.
Emphasising the distinction, she repeatedly clarified that she had said “tomb shifter.”
“I said ‘tomb shifter’ — T-O-M-B. In the Bible, didn’t you see where somebody shifted the tomb? Now I say my husband is a tomb shifter,” she said.

Jarvis also dismissed suggestions that the phrase carried any hidden meaning, describing it as a playful expression of admiration for her husband.
“Please, tomb shifter. It’s a name that we give our husbands in our village,” she added.
The clarification comes days after Jarvis and her husband, Peller, held their widely discussed wedding ceremony, which attracted celebrities, influencers and other prominent personalities.
Since the explanation was released, the phrase has continued to generate reactions across social media platforms, with many users responding humorously while others praised Jarvis for addressing the misunderstanding directly.
