Jordan Ezenwo Nyesom-Wike, son of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has denied involvement in an alleged $2.1 million land transaction in Abuja.
Jordan made the denial while testifying before an FCT High Court presided over by Justice Silvanus Oriji, where he disputed the authenticity of a document tendered in connection with the alleged transaction.
He told the court that the signature appearing on the document purportedly linking him to the land deal was forged.
Jordan also denied having any relationship with the claimants in the suit or participating in any transaction concerning the acquisition of land in the Federal Capital Territory.
During cross-examination by counsel to the claimants, Hamza Dantani, Jordan said he was outside Nigeria around September 26, 2025, the date the claimants alleged that money was collected for the transaction.
“I did not receive any money from anybody. I did not sign any document for land deal. I only found out that my signature was on the land document just like anyone else in this court yesterday (Tuesday),” he told the court.
Jordan further denied knowing a person identified as Onor Sandy, who the claimants alleged was with him when the money was delivered.
“I never had any friend named Onor Sandy and I did not have any deal with anyone regarding land deal,” he said.
At the previous sitting, the court had directed Jordan to produce his travel passport following an application by counsel to the claimants.

At Wednesday’s proceedings, he produced a photocopy of the passport and undertook to present the original whenever required by the court.
The case, marked CV/008/2026, was instituted by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited against Jordan.
The claimants alleged that they first met Jordan in London, where they developed a friendship, before meeting again in Abuja about three months later.
According to their account, they subsequently approached him to assist with facilitating the acquisition of land in the FCT.
They alleged that Jordan agreed to facilitate the acquisition of 30 hectares of land in Katampe and another 30 hectares in Guzape.
The claimants further alleged that Jordan demanded a facilitation fee of $2.1 million, comprising $2 million allegedly intended for his father, the FCT Minister, and $100,000 purportedly described as his personal fee.
They claimed that the money was delivered in cash on September 26, 2025, in the presence of Adamu Sani, Aliyu Sarki and Sai Wani, while Jordan was allegedly accompanied by Onor Sandy.
Jordan, however, has denied receiving the money, signing the land-related documents or having any connection with the alleged transaction.
The court has adjourned the matter until December 1, 2026, for continuation of trial.
