The Kaduna State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it is expanding its membership base to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections.
During a leadership meeting in Kaduna on Thursday, the 7th of August, 2025, the party leadership outlined its readiness, noting that the ADC is well-organised and positioned as the alternative political choice for the state’s residents.
State Chairman Elder Patric Ambut praised the growing interest from Kaduna residents in joining the ADC as a credible option to the APC. He called for stronger collaboration with coalition partners, stating, “Our doors are open for anybody that has the same ideology with the ADC, and we are willing to work with all our partners for ADC to take over the state and the country at large in 2027.”
Ambut said the party is already building a platform to usher in a change of government in the state. According to him, public dissatisfaction with the APC’s leadership style has made the ADC a preferred choice. He urged members to return to their wards and revalidate their membership.
