Keystone Bank Chairman Urges Bankers on Integrity, Innovation

Keystone Bank Chairman, Lady Dr. Ada Chukwudozie, has called on newly inducted bankers to uphold integrity, embrace innovation and pursue continuous learning in order to remain relevant in today’s financial landscape.

Speaking at the Chartered Banker Induction and Prize Awards Ceremony of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in Lagos, Chukwudozie said while technology and innovation were driving forces in modern banking, integrity remained the true capital for sustainable progress.

“Profit without integrity is destructive, and progress without trust is unsustainable,” she said.

Chukwudozie stressed that banking was not just about figures or profits but also about people.

“The true measure of banking is in how we enable small businesses to grow, how we help families achieve their dreams, and how we make financial services accessible to all,” she added.

The Keystone Bank chairman commended CIBN for promoting professionalism and high ethical standards in the banking sector.

She also reaffirmed Keystone Bank’s commitment to staff capacity development through its CIBN-accredited Learning Academy, noting that 14 members of staff were among the new inductees.
