Kwara Pays March Salaries Ahead Of Eid-el-Fitr

The Kwara State Government has begun the early payment of March salaries to civil servants, ensuring workers receive their wages ahead of the forthcoming Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.

Announcing the development on its official Facebook page on Tuesday, the government said the move was aimed at alleviating financial pressure on staff during the festive period.

The statement highlighted the administration’s ongoing commitment to timely salary disbursements and overall welfare of workers.

“Eid al-Fitr: In line with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s longstanding tradition, the Kwara State Government has commenced the payment of March salary to the civil servants in the state to enable them to meet their needs, during the forthcoming Eid celebration.

The early salary release is expected to provide relief to workers who often face increased financial obligations during festive periods.

With payments made in advance, civil servants can better manage expenses such as food, clothing, transportation, and other family needs associated with the celebration.

Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, is a significant observance for Muslims worldwide. The festival follows a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection and is typically celebrated with communal prayers, charitable acts, and family gatherings.
