A tragic incident has struck Kwara State as a woman mourns the brutal killing of her husband and his younger brother by suspected bandits.
The grieving widow explained that her husband was on his way home when gunmen ambushed his vehicle, shattering its glass before shooting him and his brother dead. She revealed that about four other people were also killed during the same attack.
Expressing deep frustration, she decried the inability of security agencies in the area, including the Department of State Services (DSS), to stem the rising wave of killings. According to her, even local vigilantes were overpowered by the attackers, who not only killed some of them but also seized their weapons.
