Labour Party comforts Nigerians amidst challenges, extends christmas wishes

As Nigerians grapple with current challenges, the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos State offered words of solace and encouragement in a Christmas message delivered by the State Chairperson, Pastor Dayo Ekong. The message aimed to uplift the spirits of citizens, emphasizing hope and resilience during these trying times.

In a statement issued by Mrs Olubunmi Odesanya, the LP Publicity Secretary in the state, Ekong acknowledged the difficulties faced by Nigerians and urged them not to lose hope. She characterized the Christmas season as a time for joy, peace, and reflection on God’s goodness and love for humanity.

“We feel your pain and request that you do not despair. Every pain and suffering has an expiry date, and we know, for sure, that the chain of hardship, struggles, and gloomy future will be broken soon,” Ekong reassured.

The LP leader called for prayers for peace and prosperity in the nation, expressing confidence that better days are ahead. “All will be well with our dear country and us all,” she affirmed.

In extending Christmas wishes, Pastor Dayo Ekong wished Lagos residents a merry Christmas and a peaceful, prosperous New Year. The Labour Party’s message serves as a beacon of optimism, fostering a sense of unity and resilience among Nigerians during the festive season.
