A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos State, on Friday, May 15, 2026, ordered the remand of social media personality Blessing CEO over allegations of fraud involving about N36 million.
Justice D. I. Dipeolu issued the order after the defendant was arraigned on charges bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and alleged conversion of funds linked to a business-related transaction.
Prosecutors told the court that the defendant allegedly misrepresented material facts in a financial arrangement, leading to the transfer of about N36 million, which was subsequently diverted for personal use.

The charge is said to fall under provisions of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006.
She pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Following her plea, the prosecution urged the court to remand her pending the determination of the case.
The court granted the application and ordered that she be held in custody.
The matter was adjourned for further hearing.
