“The police arrested four individuals running the facility: Chibuike Ihejika, 23; Stanley Ihejika, 22; Obiora Oyediba, 26; and Emmanuel Oyedibe, 25,” Hundeyin stated.
The six trainees found at the facility were identified as Okorie Henry, Otoh Chisom, 20; Okeke Kwufrochikwu, 26; Uchenna Obeji, 26; Minachi Udochukwu, 12; and Chinedu Ukachukwu, 23.

Authorities disclosed that Udochukwu, the youngest among them, bore healing injury marks allegedly inflicted by the ringleaders to force him into cybercrime.
He is now receiving medical care and has been placed in protective custody until he can be reunited with his family.
Meanwhile, the police have ordered the owner of the facility to report to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) and assured that all suspects will face prosecution upon the conclusion of investigations.
Lagos Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, commended the officers involved in the operation and reaffirmed the command’s commitment to tackling cybercrime and other criminal activities.
He urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to law enforcement authorities for swift action.
