A preliminary investigation by the service suggested that the migrants might have fallen victim to Trafficking in Persons (TIP) and Smuggling of Migrants (SOM), as none of them could provide valid travel documents or residence permits when questioned.

The arrested individuals have been placed in the custody of the NIS, where they are undergoing further profiling and investigation.

Authorities have assured that appropriate measures will be taken following the completion of their inquiries.
