Lagos State University (LASU) has reopened its indigeneship verification portal for eligible Lagos State indigenes seeking admission through the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) and other Direct Entry routes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The special window, approved by the Vice-Chancellor, runs from Monday, October 12, to Friday, October 16, 2026.
Eligible candidates are those who chose LASUÂ as their first-choice institution during the 2026 JAMB registration but missed the initial verification exercise held from April 27 to May 22.

Applicants must register and pay through the official portal at https://lasu.edu.ng/iive/ and present the required documents, including their JAMB Direct Entry registration slip and evidence of Lagos State indigeneship.
The university has warned candidates against payments to individuals or unofficial accounts.
Indigeneship clearance is required for admission consideration but does not guarantee admission. Eligible applicants are advised to complete the process before the October 16 deadline.
