Two men have been arrested for allegedly dumping faecal waste on a road median in Oshodi, Lagos State.
The suspects, identified as 50-year-old Sabo Ali, and 30-year-old Ahead Adamu, were allegedly caught using a cart to dispose of the waste on the median.
The Managing Director of the Lagos Waste Management Authority, Muyiwa Gbadegesin, disclosed this in a post on his X account on Friday.
In the post, titled “Two Arrested for Dumping Faecal Waste on Oshodi Median”, Gbadegesin said the abandoned property allegedly used by the suspects for the illegal activity had also been sealed by operatives of the Kick Against Indiscipline team.
He said the enforcement action was part of efforts to tackle illegal waste disposal and protect public spaces across Lagos.

“We will continue to identify and disrupt illegal dumping activities, enforce environmental laws and protect public spaces,” he wrote.
Gbadegesin urged residents to dispose of their waste responsibly and use approved waste collection services.
“Dump responsibly. Use approved waste collection services. Help us achieve a cleaner Lagos,” he added.
