A suspected bomb explosion has struck Woro community in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, with reports indicating that several lives may have been lost.
As of the time of filing this report, no group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
However, residents believe the explosion may have been caused by an improvised explosive device allegedly linked to Boko Haram elements.

The latest incident comes weeks after a deadly attack in the same area.
Last month, at least 75 residents were killed and several homes destroyed when suspected terrorists invaded Woro and neighbouring Nuku communities.
In response to that earlier attack, President Bola Tinubu had directed the deployment of an army battalion to the affected area in an effort to restore security.
