Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle on Monday sacked the Emir of Maru, Abubakar Chika, for aiding activities of bandits in the state.
The Emir was dethroned along with the district head of Kanoma, Lawal Ahmed.
Upon this development, Arewa Consultative Forum has lauded the governor, saying he has taken a bold step to end insecurity in the state.
ACF last week had challenged Matawalle to expose the people behind the kidnapping activities in the state.
This was coming after the governor claimed to know the sponsors kidnapping in the state.
