Dele Momodu has launched a scathing criticism of former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode, questioning his conduct and suitability for a potential diplomatic appointment.
In a statement posted on his X account on Thursday, Momodu described Fani-Kayode as a controversial figure whose behaviour, despite a privileged educational background, has remained a source of concern.
He referenced the late Remilekun Fani-Kayode, father of the former minister, noting his distinguished legacy.
Momodu expressed disappointment that, in his view, Fani-Kayode had not lived up to expectations associated with his upbringing and academic exposure, including his time at University of Cambridge.

He further suggested that Fani-Kayode had long anticipated a political appointment and revealed that discussions around possible alignments had taken place in the past, including outreach efforts toward former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The media entrepreneur also raised concerns about reports linking Fani-Kayode to a potential ambassadorial role, warning that public conduct and temperament remain critical considerations for diplomatic representation.
The remarks highlight ongoing tensions within Nigeria’s political space, where public commentary and personal criticisms among political actors continue to shape discourse ahead of future appointments and alignments.
