Grammy-winning Nigerian sensation, Temilade Openiyi, fondly called Tems, has opened up about the extraordinary bond she shares with her mother.
The soulful songstress, known for her captivating voice, revealed that her connection with her mom goes beyond the ordinary they share everything.
Speaking in an interview with ET on the sidelines of the 67th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on the 2nd of February, 2025, she expressed:
“What I have is hers (my mother’s). We share everything I have.”
Reflecting on her Grammy triumph, Tems radiated gratitude, saying:
“I’m grateful to God. I’m thankful. I think it’s a blessing. I’m extremely blessed and favored. I just want to give that out in any way that I can.”
