NAF Expands West African Ties With Training Of 20 Ghana Officers

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has trained 20 officers from the Ghana Armed Forces at the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFIAM), Kaduna, in a move boosting regional military cooperation, the verified NAF X account confirmed.

The officers are part of a 30-student cohort taking the six-month Initial Personnel Administrative Management Officers Course (IPAMOC), while 10 NAF officers attend the three-month Basic Information Young Officers Course (BIYOC).

The courses focus on personnel administration, organizational leadership, human resource management, and strategic communication skills.

NAF Commandant Air Commodore Isaiah Taiwo urged participants to maintain discipline and professionalism, while expert lectures including sessions on digital information warfare by Prof Samaila Mande, prepared them for modern operational challenges.

The programme reflects the vision of Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke to standardize training and develop mission-focused capabilities, further cementing the NAF’s reputation as a regional centre of military excellence.
