Nigerian Air Force Opens Free Nationwide Recruitment for 2025 Training Course

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has opened its online recruitment portal for the Airmen/Airwomen Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for enlistment.

According to a statement from the Force, the application window will run from Tuesday, October 14, 2025, to Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

The exercise is completely free of charge, and interested candidates are required to apply online through nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.

The Basic Military Training Course is a short-term training programme designed for individuals aspiring to join the Air Force as airmen or airwomen.

It is open to applicants with secondary school certificates, NABTEB, National Diploma (ND), NCE, City and Guilds, or Trade Test qualifications.

The recruitment is divided into two categories, Non-Tradesmen/Women and Tradesmen/Women.

Non-trades applicants must be between 18 and 22 years old, while trades applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old.

Certain specialised roles, such as drivers and assistant chaplains/imams, allow for a maximum age of 28 years.

Applicants must:
• Be Nigerian citizens by birth.
• Be medically, physically, and mentally fit according to NAF standards.
• Be free from any criminal conviction.
• Meet the minimum height requirements of 1.66 metres for males and 1.63 metres for females.

Candidates are also expected to present the following documents during application:
• Local Government Area Indigeneship Form.
• Attestation Form signed by a recognised referee and accompanied by a recent passport photograph.
• Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
• Acknowledgment Slip obtained after completing the online application.

The Nigerian Air Force urged qualified individuals to seize the opportunity to serve the nation with discipline and dedication, describing the BMTC 46/2025 as “a bold step toward a rewarding military career.”

Applicants are advised to beware of fraudsters, as the recruitment exercise is free and conducted only through the official NAF website.
