Musa Gude, the lawmaker representing Uke/Karshi Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, says he has appointed 106 aides to strengthen his work and improve the lives of people in his constituency.
Speaking in Lafia on Tuesday, August 19, Gude, who is a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), explained that the appointments were designed not only to support his legislative duties but also to provide jobs and raise the standard of living for the aides and their families.
“I want to disclose that I have 106 aides on my payroll, including special and personal assistants. Some of them receive ₦100,000, ₦80,000, ₦50,000, ₦30,000, ₦20,000, and ₦10,000, respectively,” he said.

According to him, the move reflects his commitment to inclusive leadership and grassroots empowerment.
He also highlighted other projects he has undertaken to ease the burden on residents, including the provision of boreholes and the payment of WAEC fees for students.
“I have done my best in health, education, agriculture, infrastructure and other areas. I have also empowered many constituents to enable them to become self-reliant,” he added.
The lawmaker assured his constituents of continued quality representation in the state legislature. He further appealed to them to live in unity, peace, and tolerance, regardless of their differences.
