Ndidi Suffers Hamstring Injury, Set For Weeks On Sidelines

Wilfred Ndidi, captain of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has been ruled out of action after sustaining a hamstring injury during Beşiktaş JK’s 1-0 defeat to Fenerbahçe SK.

The midfielder was forced off during the encounter after pulling up with discomfort, raising immediate concerns among fans and team officials.

Subsequent medical assessments have confirmed the injury as a Grade 2 partial hamstring tear, a condition expected to keep the influential midfielder sidelined for between four to six weeks.

The setback is a significant blow for both club and country, given Ndidi’s importance in midfield and his leadership role with the national team.
