SEC Director-General Dr. Emomotimi Agama said the programme reflects the commission’s commitment to building informed regulators capable of guiding a fast-evolving digital-asset market.
The course, beginning 12 January 2026, covers blockchain fundamentals, digital-asset markets, centralised and decentralised finance, risk management, and compliance, and concludes with a capstone project.
Applications close on 28 December 2025.
The launch comes as Nigeria’s crypto sector continues to expand, with tens of billions of dollars in transactions recorded in recent years, underscoring the need for structured oversight and industry collaboration.
