Nigerian rapper, Sound Sultan diagnosed with throat cancer

Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Fasasi, fondly called Sound Sultan, is currently battling throat cancer in the United States of America and has started chemotherapy in one of the hospitals.

According to Sahara Reporters, the singer left Nigeria for America in order to start his chemotherapy after he was diagnosed with the ailment.

The amazing rapper started his career in show business in the 90s when he hosted shows to raise money for his studio sessions.

He won local talent-hunt shows in 1990. He also released his hit single ‘Jagbajantis’ in 2000. 

After releasing other singles and featuring in other people’s songs, the rapper was signed by Kennis Music.

The father of three worked with Wyclef Jean, alongside 2face Idibia and Faze on “Proud to be African” from Wyclef’s Welcome to Haiti: Creole 101 album.

He was  announced as the  United Nation Ambassador for Peace for his exemplary lifestyle and career in 2012.

Sound Sultan released his  rap single  titled “Remember” after a long break  from the music scene in 2015.

Sound sultan is a talented and amazing rapper and a  veteran singer. He got married to his old time Igbo girlfriend in 2009, she  converted to Islam and they are blessed with three children.
