French forward Christopher Nkunku has completed a permanent transfer from Chelsea to AC Milan on a five-year contract running until June 2030.
The deal, valued at around €42 million (£36 million), includes a sell-on clause for Chelsea.
Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023 but endured an injury-disrupted spell at Stamford Bridge.
Over two seasons, he made 62 appearances, scored 18 goals, and won the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup with the club.
His move comes as part of a busy transfer window for both clubs. Nkunku will wear the number 18 shirt at Milan.

Chelsea, in reshaping their squad, also sanctioned a loan move for striker Nicolas Jackson to Bayern Munich.
AC Milan, meanwhile, have reinforced heavily following an eighth-place Serie A finish last season, adding players such as Luka Modrić, Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, and Pervis Estupiñán.
Nkunku, 27, is expected to strengthen Milan’s attack as the club looks to return to European competition and challenge for domestic honours.
