A deadly confrontation broke out on Wednesday afternoon between local vigilantes and armed bandits in Garagi village, Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, resulting in the death of a feared bandit known as Me Dada.
Security expert Bakatsine shared the development in a post on X, revealing that the bandit was killed and then beheaded during the clash.

“This afternoon, vigilantes in Garagi village, Maru LGA Zamfara State, have killed notorious bandit ‘Me Dada’ during a clash. He was beheaded after being neutralized,” Bakatsine wrote.
At the time of filing this report, officials have not issued any formal comment on the incident.
