The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the passing-out ceremony for the 2024 Batch C Stream II corps members will take place on December 18, 2025.
The ceremony, which will be low-key, is expected to witness the presentation of Certificates of National Service (CNS) to qualifying corps members across local government areas nationwide.
According to NYSC officials, winding-up activities for the batch commenced on December 2, beginning with job advisory sessions designed to prepare corps members for the labour market.
This was followed by employer releases, clearance processes, and final inspections, all of which will continue through mid-December ahead of the passing-out exercises.
The NYSC’s phased winding-up schedule is intended to ensure that all administrative and statutory requirements are completed before corps members are officially discharged.
Corps members who have successfully fulfilled the one-year national service are eligible to collect their CNS certificates, a prerequisite for employment in the public and private sectors.
Officials have also emphasised that the December 18 exercises will prioritise local-level coordination, enabling corps members to participate in their respective local government areas without large-scale congregations.

The move aligns with recent NYSC directives to streamline the passing-out process while maintaining compliance with administrative and security protocols.
The 2024 Batch C Stream II began their national service in 2024, engaging in community development service, primary assignments, and skill acquisition programmes across the country.
The corps scheme remains a key platform for youth integration, skill development, and national cohesion, with the passing-out ceremony marking the official completion of their service year.
