The NYSC urged prospective corps members to prepare adequately for the exercise and ensure safe journeys to their respective orientation camps.

The Director-General of the scheme, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished the prospective corps members and camp officials safe travels as they make their way to the various camps.

Nafiu specifically advised corps members against travelling at night, urging them to use designated motor parks when embarking on journeys to their orientation camps.

The NYSC orientation course is the first phase of the mandatory national service programme and is designed to prepare corps members for the service year through physical training, lectures, skills development and other activities.
