Obi Felicitates Atiku at 79, Hails His Dedication to National Service

Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has extended warm birthday wishes to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, describing him as an elder statesman whose commitment to Nigeria remains steadfast. Obi’s tribute was shared on Tuesday via his official X account in celebration of Atiku’s 79th birthday.

In his message, Obi referred to Atiku as a “dear elder brother, boss, and elder statesman,” commending the former vice president’s long service to the country. He praised Atiku’s resilience in public life, noting that it takes “remarkable fortitude” to remain actively involved in national affairs well into one’s older years.

Obi wished Atiku a day filled with “grandeur befitting his illustrious career,” adding prayers for continued health, strength, and the wisdom to keep contributing to peace and nation-building.
