Okorocha’s residence: Pandemonium as EFCC operatives fire gunshots, disperse protesters

There was commotion on Tuesday evening when operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission laying siege to the Abuja residence of former Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha, fired sporadic gunshots to disperse protesting supporters of the All Progressives Congress presidential aspirant.

The protesters, most of whom were women, and journalists keeping vigil at Okorocha’s home, scampered to safety to avoid being hit by stray bullets.

The EFCC operatives, it was learnt, have, however, vowed not to leave Okorocha’s residence without arresting and taking him away to the anti-graft agency’s headquarters.
