Esther Okoronkwo has committed her future to AFC Toronto after signing a new one-year contract with the Canadian club.
The Nigerian forward enjoyed an impressive campaign, playing a key role in AFC Toronto’s strong run in the Canadian Northern Super League. Okoronkwo registered eight goals and 11 assists in 20 league appearances, underlining her importance to the team’s attacking play.

Her consistent performances helped AFC Toronto reach the final of the Northern Super League Playoffs, where they narrowly missed out on the title after a defeat to Vancouver Rise.
The contract extension ensures Okoronkwo will remain with the Toronto-based side for another season as the club looks to build on last year’s success and push for silverware in the upcoming campaign.
