Victor Osimhen was on the scoresheet as Galatasaray secured a commanding 3–0 victory over rivals Fenerbahçe in a heated derby encounter on Sunday.
The Nigerian forward opened the scoring in the 40th minute, giving Galatasaray a deserved lead after a tense first half.
Fenerbahçe had earlier missed a golden opportunity to go ahead when Anderson Talisca failed to convert a penalty in the 13th minute, a moment that proved costly as the game unfolded.
Galatasaray extended their advantage in the 67th minute through Barış Alper Yılmaz, who finished off a well-worked move to put the home side firmly in control.
