Osimhen Scores Again As Galatasaray Edge Basaksehir In Five-Goal Thriller

Victor Osimhen continued his impressive goalscoring run for Galatasaray, finding the net again as the Turkish champions secured a 3-2 away victory over Basaksehir on Friday.

The Nigerian striker’s latest goal means he has now scored in every match he has played this season, underlining his importance to Galatasaray’s attack.

Osimhen has featured against Göztepe, Erzurumspor FK, Çorum FK and Basaksehir, scoring six goals and providing two assists across four appearances.

However, his latest outing ended prematurely after he suffered a groin problem in the 33rd minute.

The injury forced Galatasaray to withdraw the striker, with Osimhen unable to continue despite making his mark on the game.

His early departure will now raise concerns over his fitness, particularly with Galatasaray facing a demanding schedule ahead.

Despite the setback, Osimhen’s remarkable start to the campaign has continued to attract attention, with the 27-year-old establishing himself as one of the most dangerous forwards in Turkish football.

The striker’s six goals and two assists in four matches represent a prolific return and further highlight his influence since joining Galatasaray.
