The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and fee structure for the 2026 governorship election in Osun State, setting out the nomination process, screening, delegate congresses, and the primaries.
The document, signed by the National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, and issued from the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, noted that activities will begin on Friday, the 3rd of October 2025 with the issuance of the notice of election to the State Chapter.
The update of the membership register will follow from Monday, the 20th October to Friday, 31st October 2025.
“Members whose names appear on the Register and are up to date in paying their membership dues over the past year up to February 2025 will be eligible to vote and be voted for,” the statement said.
The timetable fixed Wednesday, the 12th of November 2025 as the commencement date for the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, while the deadline for submission of completed forms and supporting documents, including delegate forms, is Monday, the 1st December 2025.
The party also spelt out concessions for certain groups. “Female Aspirants and Persons with Disabilities are to purchase the Expression of Interest Form while the Nomination Form is free.
Youths aged 25 to 40 are to purchase the Expression of Interest Form with a 50% discount on the Nomination Form,” Argungu stated.
According to the schedule, fees for the governorship ticket amount to ₦50 million in total.

The Expression of Interest Form costs ₦10 million, the Nomination Form ₦40 million, while the Delegate Form is ₦5,000. The statement explained that “Expression of Interest Form and Nomination Form will be available for purchase at the Directorate of Organization, 2nd Floor, APC National Headquarters, No. 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja.”
The party also outlined the requirements for delegate congresses. “Members to elect delegates will be financial members of the Party for not less than three months before the delegate congress at the rate of 200 per month,” the statement said.
Other activities in the timetable cover the screening of aspirants, publication of results, appeal processes, and the conduct of the primary. “Congress to ratify the result of the Gubernatorial Primary Election in compliance with Article 84 (4): (b) & (c) of the 2022 Electoral Act (as amended),” the statement added.
